Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy
Interpretive:
The most important thing I've gained from this experience is the hands-on , real-life backing for all of my research. Without it, I'd just be theorizing about something I read online, with no proof that Hippotherapy actually works.
Applied:
My mentor and the people at Leaps and Bounds have all provided me with the help and experience needed for me to come up with my three answers, the first being the most obvious, considering they told us at orientation. However, the answers alone weren't enough, considering you can't have a real answer from only one source. They did provide the starting ground for every part of my project thus far, though.

Blog 11: Mentorship 10 Hour Check
1. I'm mentoring at Leaps and Bounds.
2. My mentor is Cassandra Sanders-Holly.
3. I've only had 4 hours and 15 minutes of mentorship on record, due to complications the last couple of times I tried to go. However, I'll soon be making up for it by doing two sessions a week, or 7 hours a week.
4. The hours I've done so far include setup, cleanup, and sidewalking with patients.

4. The most important thing I gained from this experience is the knowledge provided to me about the field of psychology from the Chichesters, especially since it was so difficult to get any professional psychologists to talk to me.

5. Looking at the pediatric therapy done at the Leaps and Bounds center, my project will probably involve the most important parts of the habilitation process, and how it all works.
